Conservation Corps NC (CCNC) is hiring young people ages 16 and 18 to work on conservation projects that will preserve, improve, and restore Mecklenburg County’s parks and nature preserves for wildlife and people.
Positions available for Session I (June 17-July 12) or Session II (July 22- August 16). Crews work Monday – Friday, returning home each evening. Preference given to Charlotte residents. Participants earn a paycheck and gain real-life work job experience while learning valuable leadership, communication, team building, and technical skills. Internship credit and community service hours available. Never held a hammer or a shovel? No problem. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are all you need - we’ll teach the rest!
